How is usage tracked?
Usage is tracked by rows generated, not API calls. All plans have unlimited API calls. Regular row generation and Story Mode rows are tracked separately because Story Mode uses AI which has higher costs.
What's the difference between regular rows and Story Mode rows?
Regular rows are generated using our fast rule-based engine. Story Mode rows use GPT-4o-mini to transform data with narrative context (realistic names, addresses, etc.). Story Mode rows have separate limits due to AI costs.
What's the difference between Free and Developer?
Free gives you 50k rows and 1k Story Mode rows/month with template prompts. Developer adds custom Story Mode prompts (write your own AI prompts), schema storage, and 5x more volume (250k rows, 25k Story Mode rows).
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated.
What happens if I exceed my limits?
You'll receive a 429 error when limits are reached. Upgrade to a higher plan for more capacity, or wait until your monthly limit resets on the 1st of each month.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes! The Developer plan includes a 14-day free trial (card required). Higher tiers (Team, Scale) require payment upfront - contact us if you'd like to discuss a trial for these plans.
Is my data secure?
We don't store your generated data - it's returned directly in the API response. Your schemas are encrypted at rest and in transit.
